Community Initiatives

A holistic approach to employees and community well-being has been taken into consideration since inception. Existing Temples have been renovated and maintained for the convenience of the local community.

Temples

The Mariamman Kovil in Pappanaickenpalayam was constructed by Peria Govindaswamy Naidu, father of the Founder, G Kuppuswamy Naidu and is maintained by his successors. The temple was built more than 100 years ago by Periya Govindaswamy Naidu and is dedicated to a manifestation of the goddess Shakti, Mariamman. The temple was renovated in 1967 and reconsecrated in 1979 by Periya Govindaswamy’s grandsons.

Srinivasa Perumal Temple

In 1915, Peria Govindasamy Naidu, with divine inspiration and under the guidance of the elders, constructed the Srinivasa Perumal Kovil in Pappanaickenpalayam, which is maintained by the Lakshmi family.

Sri Mahalakshmi Temple

Sri Mahalakshmi Temple on the Chennai seashore was constructed in the year 1976. A rare shore temple in India, this outstanding shrine is the result of the dedication of the Lakshmi family. It is one of the only four temples built in the rare South Indian architectural style of Ashtanga Vimanam (octo-faceted tower).
